The search is on for a missing dog after it arrived at Midway Airport Friday afternoon and ultimately took off.

Madison the Doberman

Madison the Doberman is a rescue dog that a group in Texas found an adoptive home for in Elkhorn, Wis. The dog made it to Chicago Friday after tagging along on a private jet, and was met by a Chicago paramedic who volunteers for a Doberman rescue group.

She planned to put Madison in her car and drive the dog to its new home in Wisconsin, but somewhere in the process, it got out of its harness and took off in the area of Central and 53rd.

If you see Madison, who’s described as being scared and nervous, please call the Illinois Doberman Rescue at 847-277-1082.
