Students at Hinsdale Middle School get the day off today because their school may be full of mold.

The recent cold snap caused a sprinkler pipe to rupture in a science classroom.

The leak, and a few others that followed it, convinced school officials that it was time to close the school for a thorough cleaning – so it’ll be done today.

School is closed Monday for the Martin Luther King holiday. The cleanup should be done in time for school to reopen Tuesday.
