Convicted ex-Chicago Streets and Sans Commissioner Al Sanchez has been voted off the Cook County Board ballot.

The elections board made the unanimous decision Thursday because Sanchez has failed to complete his parole after being convicted on corruption charges.

Sanchez contends that he would be finished with his parole by the time he would take office, so he is eligible to run for county commissioner.
