A former teacher in Indiana was sentenced to several months in jail for sexting three female students.

Bryan Tyman was sentenced to 120- days for sending an explicit picture of himself to three middle school girls in December 2012.

At the time, Tyman was a teacher at Fegely Middle School in Portage.

A plea deal in the case was rejected in November after the judge said Tyman should spend time in jail.

Now the victims’ parents say they are angry because they were not told of Tuesday’s sentencing hearing and were not in the courtroom.

Tyman will end up spending 60 days in jail — with credit for time served.

He was also sentenced to three year’s probation and must register as a sex offender for 10 years.
