The cold air is returned to the Chicago area Tuesday afternoon.

Breezy west/southwest winds will make it feel colder than forecasted highs in the mid to upper 30s.  The chance of snow ends Tuesday night as breezy conditions continue. The overnight low will likely be in the mid-teens, but will feel more like 0 to -5 degrees.

We’ll stay cold Wednesday. Despite decreasing clouds, temperatures are only expected to top out near 20 degrees.

There’s a renewed chance for snow showers returns Thursday and Friday.
