Two young children survived a house fire in Hammond, Indiana that killed three of their siblings; now their grandmother plans to seek custody of them.

Last Wednesday’s fire killed Jayden, Alexia and Dasani Young.

The Sun-Times reports, their brothers Isaiah and Evian have been placed in foster care for now.

Their mother, Michelle Young, pleaded guilty to felony child neglect in 2011, for leaving a child home alone.

The children’s father, Andre Young, is hospitalized with third-degree burns from the fire.
