Blue Line ‘L’ resumes normal service after fire under train

Blue line service resumes following a fire that forced at least 80 riders to evacuate.

The fire broke out under a train, headed to O’hare, near the Rosemont station at about nine last night. No one was injured.

A CTA spokesperson says riders boarded shuttle buses for their stops.

The agency halted service temporarily between Rosemont and O’Hare.
