Weather conditions delay, cancel flights at Chicago’s airports

AirplaneBoth of Chicago’s airports are experiencing delays and cancellations because of the brutal weather conditions Monday.

At O’Hare Airport, more than 1,600 flights have already been cancelled, and airlines are reporting 40 minute delays for both inbound and outbound flights.

At Midway, airlines are experiencing delays of 20 minutes or more due to the weather, and have proactively canceled more than 85 flights for the day.

Passengers traveling Monday and those picking up passengers, should visit their airlines’ websites for flight status.
