Snow has started falling in and around Chicago.

It’s expected to hit northwest Indiana by mid to late afternoon.

With temperatures in the 10 to 13-degree range, snow will begin to accumulate enough to cause slick spots on the highways, and motorists should take precautions during the late-afternoon/evening commute. Driving conditions will deteriorate further as the snow continues this evening and overnight.
