Bears blown out, but can reach playoffs by beating Packers

The Bears must be counting on saving their best for last when they host the Packers next Sunday at Soldier Field for the NFC North title.

With a chance to wrap up the title at Lincoln Financial Field against the Eagles, the Bears were at their absolute worst in front of a national television audience Sunday night. The Eagles blew them out, 45-11, scoring in every possible fashion — runs, passes, field goal and safety.They even added a pick-6 of Jay Cutler, who was lifted with 8 minutes left in the fourth quarter as the Bears trailed 47-11.
Cutler completed 20 of 35 passes for 222 yards and 1 TD. He was intercepted once and sacked five times.
Earlier in the day, the Bears (8-7) received the cooperation of the Lions (7-8), who dropped an overtime decision to the Giants.Then the Packers (7-7-1) lost at home to the Giants, 38-31.
The return of injured Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers to the field next Sunday has not yet been determined.
The Eagles (9-6) need to beat the Cowboys next weekend to win the NFC East.
