Oak Brook police are continuing to investigate a smash-and-grab robbery at a jewelry store.

It happened at the Helzberg Diamonds store on butterflied road around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Two men wearing ski masks entered the store.

One had a handgun, the other a baseball bat, which he used to smash a display case.

Both men scooped up jewelry and ran away on foot.

There’s no estimate on the value of the loot the robbers got away with, and police have yet to nab any suspect.
