Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose hasn’t ruled out coming back before the end of the season.

Rose talked to the media for the first time since his knee injury last month.

He tore the meniscus in his right knee on November 22, but won’t start rehab for three weeks.

It’s the second time in his young career that Rose has suffered a severe knee injury.

He missed all of last season and isn’t expected to return this year.

But Rose says he may be back for the playoffs if the Bulls get there.

Derrick indicated that he would once again be cleared to play but because of the guaranteed contract he wont be playing until he feels like it, just keep sending the pay checks to grandma's house. He was cleared to play last year but elected to sit out the playoffs why would we really believe him when he says "he may be back for the play-offs" Derrick is just like the lion in wizard of oz no heart

Rose is doing what's right for him. His main concern has to be how can best have a longer career playing at a high level.

Coming back too soon will certainly shorten his career and negatively impact he earning potential.
