Paul Konerko is coming back to the south side for another year.

Konerko’s agent confirms he’ll be back for his 16th season with the White Sox.

The one-year deal is worth $2.5 million.

Konerko is 37 years old, and said back in the fall that if he returned, it would likely by his final season.

He was hampered with injuries last season, and had a career- low 355 slugging.

The Sox now have three first basemen on the roster including Konerko, Adam Dunn, and newly signed Jose Abreu.
