Mentally disabled man missing from Batavia

Police are searching for a man missing from Batavia who was last seen Monday in Champaign boarding a train to Chicago.

Police say 68-year-old Peter Malony is mentally disabled.

The train he boarded was due into Union Station where he was to take a Metra train to Aurora, but he never arrived, according to police.  He was traveling alone.

Maloney is described as 5’4, 113 lbs with brown hair and hazel eyes.  He was last seen wearing a Chicago Bears stocking hat, an orange Illini sweatshirt, a brown hooded jacket, blue jeans and black winter boots.
