University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign is building a center for wounded veterans.

The center will provide vets  with the most severe disabilities a place to live and get counseling, academic coaching and rehabilitation. The University expects  to serve about 165 veterans each year, including 12 people who can live on-site.

It’s scheduled to open in fall of 2015
