A reward is being offered Wednesday night for the person who shot a Harvey cop on Sunday.

Harvey leaders will pay $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and charges.

The 43-year-old cop was responding to an armed robbery at a strip mall when he was shot.

The money for the reward was raised by contributions from the mayor, law enforcement officers, city employees and local business owners.
