First Mayor Rahm Emanuel fired back at Jon Stewart’s criticism of Chicago style pizza, now Giordano’s has a message for the late night host.

Here’s a timeline of the events.

“This is not pizza, this is tomato soup in a bread bowl,” Stewart said on the Daily Show Wednesday night. “This is an above ground marinara swimming pool full of rats!”

After that rant, Emanuel tweeted a picture of a deep dish pizza he reportedly sent Stewart for lunch Thursday. Attached, a note read, “Jon, deep dish with dead fish. Love, Rahm.”

Stewart responded with a message saying, “thanks buddy”, along with a short video of a dog turning his nose up at the pizza.

Now Giordano’s is speaking out about stewart’s jab.
