16-year-old charged in fatal shooting of UPS worker

A 16-year-old boy is charged with killing a man during an attempted robbery in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

53-year-old Michael Sullivan was shot in the head near the Green Line Pulaski stop on Tuesday night.

He was on his way to work at UPS.

Sullivan had two daughters, and two grandchildren.

The suspect’s name has not been released because of his age.

He faces three additional charges related to a stolen vehicle, property damage, and possession of a replica firearm.
