Stroger was to run for commissioner, Sun Times reports

Todd Stroger says he ready for a return to politics.
The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that Stroger plans to run for Cook County Commissioner.
Stroger was once president of the Cook County Board but lost the job after much controversy over his policies and many of his hires.
Stroger wants to run for the seat left vacant by Bill Beavers, convicted of not paying taxes.
Stroger’s father was Cook County Board president for decades and a real power broker in the democratic party.
