Puppies stolen from Naperville, Bolingbrook recovered in St. Louis

Workers at a Saint Louis pet store say three stolen Maltese puppies were returned Sunday.

One of the puppies was stolen Thursday at the Missouri location, and two others were stolen in the western suburbs on Friday.

A woman who was caught on surveillance cameras stealing the puppies on both occasions. Workers at the Petland in St. Louis say an unidentified man simply dropped them off at their store Maltese.

Video from that store shows a woman putting a small, eight-week-old Maltese puppy in a bag and walking out of the store Thursday at about 11:30pm.

The store’s owner posted the video on the store’s Facebook page and said the woman, with blonde hair, wore a similar hat and had the same bag as the woman who walked out of the Petland stores in Bolingbrook and Naperville with two small, white puppies on Friday.
