Almost 120 demonstrators received citations late this afternoon during an immigration rally in The Loop.

Chicago police say the demonstrators were blocking traffic on Clark Street  for almost an hour.

They rallied in front of the U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services building.

The demonstrators were demanding that congress, especially the Republican controlled house, quickly pass immigration reform.

Rally organizers say the demonstration was also meant to send a message to President Obama to halt deportations.
