It’s another wet morning across Chicagoland.

Light to moderate rainfall will continue through mid-morning as a cold front approaches and eventually moves through the region.

As the front moves east it will push the rain out of the area as colder air moves in.

After morning highs in the mid-50s our temperatures are expected to fall into the mid-40s by the evening commute.

Clearing skies tonight will allow temperatures to fall to near 30 degrees with mid-30s expected downtown.

Thursday and Friday should be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 40s.
