USGS: 3.7 magnitude earthquake hits Chicago-area

The USGS has confirmed a 3.7 magnitude earthquake in Indian Head Park, Illinois.

The earthquake hit around 12:35 p.m. (CST).

Earlier, the National Weather Service tweeted that a possible earthquake may have hit the Chicago area.
