Triple Dog Dare comes to the Indiana Welcome Center

For those wanting an official Red Ryder, carbine action, 200 shot range model air rifle for Christmas, this might come close.

The city of Hammond Indiana unveiled a new statue honoring the 80s movie classic A Christmas Story, which takes place in Hammond.

The statue is the Triple Dog Dare in action.  It depicts the character Flick sticking his tongue on an icy flag pole at the Indiana Welcome Center.

According to a statement from The South Shore CVA, the studio who created the work, Studio of Rotblatt-Amrany, also made the statues of Michael Jordan, Frank Thomas and Harry Carey in Chicago.
