Officials are investigating what caused the fire that destroyed a Wrigleyville bar and two other businesses.

The fire broke out just after five Friday evening at a hookah bar in the 3300 block of North Clark Street.

At one point, there was a smoke explosion, then the roof collapsed– prompting firefighters to issue a mayday.

They were able to account for all crew. No one was injured, but firefighters rescued a woman and dog from an adjoining building.

It took firefighters an hour-and-a-half to get the fire under control. No one was in the bar at the time.

The cause of the fire still had not been determined Saturday night, according to Chicago Fire Department officials.
