A couple found shot to death inside their home in Park Forest appear to be victims of a murder-suicide, according to police.
Police say a relative heard 33-year old Gerard Jimerson and his wife 32-year old Tajuanna Davis arguing before gun shots rang out around 9:30 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Todd Street in Park Forest.
The daughter of Davis and Jimerson found them both lying on the floor of their bedroom with gunshot wounds to the head, police said.
“Based upon early investigation, [the shooting] appears to be a murder-suicide,” police said in a release.
The South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force was investigating the deaths with Park Forest Police.
