Alligator spotted outside Florida Walmart

Shoppers are being greeted at a Walmart, but in a more frightening way.

An alligator was spotted stalking outside a Walmart in Florida.

WalmartGatorStore security blocked off the entrance as they waited for fish and wildlife officers.

But the alligator took off instead, but it didn’t go far.

One official says it returned to a lake behind the store.

    This is national news? Gators are everywhere down there. Every time I visited my relatives in Hollywood or customers in Tampa, I'd see them in the ditches and ponds all over the place. I remember walking out of my motel door to the parking lot at sunset and seeing the reflection of their eyes in the pond across the street as the sun dropped.
