Rainbow Push Coalition offers help enrolling for ACA health insurance

The technical issues that have plagued healthcare.gov, the home website of the Affordable Care Act have grabbed headlines.  But Reverend Jesse Jackson is encouraging people without insurance to focus more on their health problems and enroll.

“The glitches will be worked out, Reverend Jackson said.

The Rainbow Push Coalition hopes to help around 4,000 people enroll on Saturday.  The organization is bringing in experts from community and faith-based groups to help everyone, but especially those who feel confused or don’t have internet access.

December 15th is the registration deadline for health coverage beginning on January 1st.

The event will take place on Saturday at 9:30am at Rainbow Push Coalition Headquarters at 930 East 50th St.
