Red Line CTA renovation project complete

The five-month, renovation project to the CTA’s Red Line is finally over.

Crews updated eight stations and replaced tracks between the Cermak-Chinatown and 95th Street stops.

Officials say commuters will save 20 minutes on round-trip rides between the Loop and 95th Street stops.

The line is scheduled to re-open on time on Sunday.

    Good! its finally done. Now that people can ride the Red Line train once again, since it get crowded on the shuttle buses, during the day time.
