Bulls’ Joakim Noah out for about a week

Joakim Noah will not play Friday night against the Indiana Pacers, and Jimmy Butler is a game-time decision, Coach Tom Thibodeau announced on Twitter Friday morning.

According to a tweet from the Chicago Bulls account, Noah will be “shut down for about a week, according to the coach.

Thibodeau says Noah is still feeling soreness from a groin injury, and will be out for a week or so.

Noah fought through the injury in his preseason debut on Thursday, but missed the first three preseason games.
