3 children hit by car on South Side

Three children were struck by a car on the city’s South Side.

The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. Thursday at 69th and Halsted.

An 8-year-old girl and two 7-year-old boys were on their way to school when they were hit by a car.

The children have been transported to Comer Children’s Hospital in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

    C'mon now… where the parents?!? I'm sick of kids being outside alone, running across streets! I've seen this. Please charge the parents with neglect. It's too dangerous for kids to be that young and outside alone. I'm sick of this. And if the parents were there… definately charge them, for letting them run across the street.
