Former CBOT Chairman accused of ignoring judge’s order

The former chairman of the Chicago Board of Trade is accused of fleeing the country to avoid paying millions of dollars to his ex-wife.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports Patrick Arbor is living in Italy or Switzerland and claims he’s an Italian citizen.

A Cook County judge issued a warrant last week for Arbor’s arrest.

The divorce was made final last week and Arbor was ordered to pay more than $18 million to his ex-wife.

Arbor ran the Board of Trade from 1993 until 1999.
