A homecoming prank caused thousands of dollars in property damage.
It happened at Riverside Brookfield High School on Wednesday.
Officials say they believe students spray painted obscenities on the building, left furniture and trash on the lawn, and hung up offensive pictures of staff.
Some live chickens were also left there.
All of this caused up to $3500 in damage.
The school is calling this vandalism, but it did not say if it knew which students were responsible.

I graduated from this school in 2000. Great teachers, staff , friendly gifted personel but the kids just a bunch of punks. Ungrateful for the opportunity to receive the best education. I blame the parents .

How is this a "prank" ?

Spay painting someone’s building is definitely vandalism.
Furniture and trash on the lawn is illegal dumping. They can confiscate the vehicles involved with that according to state law.
You have to believe that your actions are being recorded at any (and perhaps every) time.
It should have stopped at the chickens and pictures of the school staff because those are just plain funny! And maybe some TP in the trees
