How to Install a Tile Backsplash

Installing a tile backsplash can dramatically improve and modernize the look of your kitchen.


  • Pre-Mixed Adhesive
  • Notched Trowel
  • Float
  • Tile Spacers
  • Sponge
  • Utility Knife
  • Grout
  • Water
  • Drill & Mixing Bit
  • Tile


  1. Smooth adhesive onto wall.
  2. Insert spacers.
  3. Mount tiles starting flush at the wall.
  4. Allow to dry overnight.
  5. Mix grout & water.
  6. Spread grout evenly across tiles.
  7. Sponge surface clean.

This is an easy project, but may take a whole weekend to complete and will cost $100+
