Waukegan man Charged In Home Barricade

A Waukegan man will appear in court Sunday following a nearly 9 hour stand off with Police.

The ordeal began Friday Morning in the 300 block of George Avenue.

Police learned Donald Palmer, a suspect in a shooting, was in an apartment there.

They released tear gas, but Palmer still didn’t come out. Officers went into the apartment Friday night and took Palmer into custody.

He was also on parole for robbery.
