The high pressure will slowly slide off to the east the first part of the week with southeast winds allowing afternoon readings to warm into the 70s away from the cooler lakefront.

Then Wednesday winds should become more southerly and stay that way the remainder of the workweek with 80-degree readings forecast Thursday and Friday. A cold front will bring showers and thunderstorms and a turn to cooler next Saturday.
