Infomercial pitchman Kevin Trudeau will return to court in Chicago today, after spending the night in jail.

A federal judge locked him up Wednesday, for violating court orders to stop his lavish spending.

Trudeau is accused of conning people into buying his weight-loss books.

In July, he was found in contempt for failing to pay a $37-million sanction against him for deceptive marketing.

Trudeau said he didn’t have the money to pay the fine.

But evidence presented Wednesday shows he recently spent thousands on haircuts, liquor, meats and cigars.

…aaand he's out the next day.
So, if I understand this case correctly: The government/FTC/FDA wants to take 37 millions from this gentleman because he offered his subjective opinion about what he wrote in a book?
Sounds like attempted robbery, if you ask me.

It's hilarious that they try to defend their argument by putting words in the mouth of us, the customers. Why would I want my money back?
I've gotten extraordinary value out of every penny I've spent on this guys stuff, and I still get tremendous benefit from the material I bought several years ago!

The value I've gotten for my money has far surpassed ANYTHING that I've ever bought before (except for that wonderful, organic coconut chocolate from Europe, though.. That's a really close second!).
