LotteryWinnerWhat a great surprise — a man from Addison learns he has a winning lottery ticket weeks after the drawing.

Giuseppe Anelli bought an Illinois Lottery 4th of July Millionaire Raffle ticket, and put the ticket in his car’s glove compartment.

He forgot about it until two weeks ago. He took the ticket into a gas station to be scanned, and was stunned to find out he won something.

He didn’t know much he won until he raced home, checked the winning numbers online, and discovered he won $1 million.

He and his wife plan to pay off their house, and invest in college funds for their three children.
