Bond set $1M for man accused in fatal Wicker Park shooting

A man was charged and held on $1 million bail Sunday in the shooting a death of a man in Wicker Park early Saturday morning.

Milwaukee Avenue early Saturday morning was ordered held on a $1 million bail today.

29-year-old Manuel Gonzalez was charged with first-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder in the death of 19-year-old Miguel Delgado.

Delgado was shot in the 1500 block of North Milwaukee Ave around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

Two other men questioned by police – the three had been arrested by police shortly after the shooting – were released without being charged, police said.
