Funeral held for Maywood toddler found in Des Plaines River

A toddler who was murdered and dumped in a river will be laid to rest Friday.

Breyon Hunter disappeared April 15.

His body was found about a month later in the Des Plaines river.

He beaten to death with a hanger and a belt before he was put in a bag.

His funeral is at “New Beginnings Church,” at 6620 S King Drive.

Hunter’s mother, Lakeshia Baker, and her boyfriend are charged with his murder.

Police say Baker claimed her son was kidnapped, before she confessed to killing him.

    I agree. I hope they hear his cries and see his face for the rest of their life. I disagree that the taxpayers should have to pay to keep them alive. They should have people torture them of slow death and let them lay there till they die. And dump their bodies and that be the end!! R.I.P Little Man!

    This may sound harsh..but do society a favor and execute the child killers or torture them for the rest of their lives. My heart and soul ached for this child (as well as other children savagely killed). I lost my child and it hurts me that he left like that by his own mother who is suppose to love and cherish her blessing! May he rest in peace.
