Firefighter injured in South Side fire

A Chicago firefighter was injured this morning on the South Side.

Initial reports said the firefighter was injured while working on the roof at 105th and Ewing, earlier this morning.

A mayday call went out and more first responders were sent to the scene.

The firefighter was taken to the hospital where he’s listed in fair condition.
