Another multi-million dollar pay out could be on the horizon for victims of the Jon Burge regime.
Burge is the former Chicago police commander convicted for lying about his hand in the torture of black suspects to make them confess to crimes they didn’t commit.
The Chicago City Council is now considering a $12 million dollar settlement for two plaintiffs.
Jon Burge was convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice in connection with a slew of lawsuits that charged rampant torture by the Chicago police department in the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
