Dog dies after falling from 43rd floor of high rise

Police are investigating the death of a dog who fell from a Chicago highrise.

Police were called this morning when the dog was found in front of a building in the 300 block of East South Water Street.

The doorman of the building reported the dog appeared to be the pet that lived in a 43rd story apartment.

    The owner should jump after his pet. Whether the fall was an accident or deliberate, there is no excuse for it. This is purely the fault of the owner not tending to the animal properly.
