Police continue to search for the thieves who people who broke into a Chicago Public School last week and stole iPads and laptops from the Dearborn Homes neighborhood school.
It happened Thursday evening in the 2700 block of South Dearborn Street, according to the police alert. It took place sometime between 8:45 p.m. Thursday and 2:35 a.m. Friday, police said.
Authorities have not released the number of devices stolen, or the cost to replace them.
iPads were promised to CPS students as part of the deal to close nearly fifty schools.
CPS officials have yet to comment.
