National Weather Service: Beach hazard through Tuesday night

Labor Day is  the last official day to swim in Lake Michigan but the weather could prevent people from getting into the water Monday.

The National Weather Service has declared a beach hazard through Tuesday evening.

It is predicting winds up to 25 miles per hour, and waves up to 7-feet high, making for dangerous swimming conditions.

As of now, Chicago beaches are still open, but some are under swim advisories.
