A three car crash, the result of an improper left turn at 43rd and Western, sent seven people, including two young boys, to the hospital late this morning.

A Chrysler sedan slammed into a Dodge caravan making the turn, then skidded into a third vehicle.

Five adults and an 8-year-old were taken to area hospitals in fair-to-serious condition, an 11-year-old boy was taken in serious to critical condition.

The passengers of the third car declined to be taken to the hospital.

The drivers of both the caravan and the Chrysler are expected to get citations.
