The mother of a baby believed to be murdered by her boyfriend is fighting to reopen the search for his remains.

5-month-old Joshua Summeries was reported missing last week.

The mother’s boyfriend, Demetries Thorpe was charged with the boy’s murder.  According to police, Thorpe confessed to suffocating the little boy, then disposing of his body in a nearby dumpster.
Zion police asked residents to check their garbage cans for the missing boy and police sifted through garbage in a nearby landfill.
Authorities searched the landfill for four days and found nothing.  They then called off the search.

But is four days enough?  That’s what Keisha Summaries is asking. She wants authorities to continue searching a Zion Landfill  for her son’s body.

How is it they have surveillance cameras saying it was seen the boyfriend putting a backpack in a trash can and then a dumpster and went to the land fill that they haven’t found this little boy? They need to keep looking for him. I don’t believe the boyfriends story.
