Two Cook County jail inmates died in their cells over the weekend.

Authorities say one committed suicide Saturday, possibly by hanging himself.

The 55-year-old man was awaiting trial for the attempted murder of his brother.

Another inmate died from natural causes Friday afternoon.

He was a 64-year-old man who was waiting to be sentenced on a murder charge.

The medical examiner determined he died from heart disease.
