How to Re-Wire a Lamp

Supplies:

  • Lamp repair kit
  • Flat and Phillips screwdrivers
  • Locking and needle-nose pliers
  • Utility knife

Step-by-Step:

  1. Remove felt
  2. Disassemble socket
  3. Pull out lamp cord
  4. Feed new wire
  5. Assemble new socket
  6. Attach cord to socket
  7. Tighten socket and replace felt
