* Alexei Ramirez is batting .392 (20/51) with seven runs and nine RBI during his current 11-game hitting streak. This is Ramirez’s longest single-season batting streak since his career-long 15-game one, August 6-21, 2010.

* Joe Mauer tied his career high for hits in a game when he had five against the Indians on Wednesday. Mauer’s five career 5+ hit games are tied with Juan Pierre, Alfonso Soriano and Alex Rodriguez for the second most by an active player (Ichiro Suzuki – 7).
